This premium silver toaster for four slices, in modern ZWILLING design ensures evenly brown toast. Repeated toasting automatically shortens the toasting duration. The 1800 watt toaster’s eight separate, heating elements evenly toast both sides of each slice. Plus, each slice of toast is crispy on the outside ,and soft on the inside – authentic ZWILLING toast. The Zwilling Enfinigy Cool Touch Toaster evenly toasted bread, waffles, and bagels to a beautiful golden brown with a pillowy interior. Other models toasted bread unevenly, with extreme light and dark patches, but on the Zwilling’s medium setting, I found that the bread came out to an even brown, without any scorching or charring.
When it’s finished, toast doesn’t simply fly out of the toaster, it glides. The soft-lift feature ensures that, the toast is lifted gently ,and the built-in extra-lift feature allows even smaller slices to be removed easily from the toaster. Never burn your toast again, This toaster automatically switches off, when the preset toasting duration is reached. Even when set to high, toast is never toasted to more than dark brown. The stop button also allows you to instantly stop toasting at any time. Crumbs fall into the easy-to-remove crumb tray.
Each of the numbers correspond to an appropriate level of brownness, that you would expect, and the removable crumb tray is easy to find. The slots are also wide enough to easily accommodate bagels, or thick slices of bread.
The toaster features seven browning levels ,and three automatic programmes. Moreover, both the left ,and right slot can be individually set. The warm up feature allows you to reheat cold toast. The thaw feature allows you to toast frozen bread direct from the freezer. And the bagel feature with slice centring allows you to achieve ideal bagel toasting results, crispy on the outside, toasted on the inside.
The matte black stainless steel casing, and simple interface add a nice design, making this toaster worthy of being displayed on your countertop. While I like the uncluttered look of the clean lines, the Zwilling lacks the bells, and whistles of other models that have preset functions for bagels, waffles, English muffins, and so on.
